COMPETITION TEAMS GENERAL INFORMATION
AUDITIONS- Teams are by audition & invitation only. Auditions are held in early fall. Experience is not a requirement to be on teams but 110% dedication is required!
TRAVEL- Teams travel to a national competition in the spring. Fundraisers are held to assist team members in raising money for trips.
REHEARSALS- Teams meet weekly (with additional rehearsals as needed). A rehearsal uniform is required. Rehearsals are a focused time to gain skills & prepare competition & performance pieces.
VOICE LESSONS- All Team Members are required to take voice from our instructors. Private lessons are included in team tuition.
TUITION- Options are available for paying tuition by the year, semester or monthly. Some scholarships are available for tuition.
PERFORMANCES- Teams prepare a short version of a show or a showcase for competition. They then prepare a full show for late spring performance. Competitions often don't allow costumes but those are added back in for spring performance.
DRAMA MAMAS & PAPAS- Our parents are actively involved in the life of the teams. Led by our incredible President, Dawn White, the DM&Ps meet monthly to stay on top of the happenings at Hub and how they can support us in the community.
